The Magnolia Arts Center is very pleased to announce the winner of this year’s 10 Minute Play Contest as Insex by Jeffery Neuman.  Jeff’s play won by a single vote, as polled from the audience in attendance.

When posted on Facebook, Jeff responded “InSex won?!? How exciting! Thank you MAC for supporting new works!”     Don’t worry Jeff – we will certainly keep this project going!

The MAC would like to thank EVERYONE who participated in this contest- from the playwrights who created the material, to the judges to had to read nearly 70 scripts in a month, to the actors who gave life to the words on the page.  We would especially like to thank the audience who came and shared this experience with us.

Submissions for next year’s event open in May 2011!
