Fourth Annual Magloia Arts Center Ten Minute Play Competition
First Prize is $50, as voted by a live audience
Judging: Three judges will read through all of the submissions and select the top 5 10-Minute plays. Each of these will be performed and then the audience will vote on their favorite.

Judging: Three judges will read through all of the submissions and select the top 5 10-Minute plays. Each of these will be performed and then the audience will vote on their favorite.

Rules:
- You must submit THREE copies of your script.
- Play should be no longer than 10 minutes in length when read or performed.
- Play should be typed and double-spaced.
- Play must be submitted between the dates of May 1 and August 31 2010. For emails, this must be sent during the Submission Period. For postal entries, they must be postmarked during the Submission Period.
- Play may not have been previously published. (Online publication on personal websites are fine)
- No names should be printed on scripts, but may be included on a cover sheet.
- Please include name of playwright on cover sheet only (cover sheet should include playwright's name and title of play).
- Title of play should be on EACH page.
- Musicals and adaptations of other author's works not eligible.
- Open to playwrights of all ages!!
- $3.00 fee per ENTRY, not per playwright! $5 for electronic submission. (to cover the cost of printing)

- Email your entry to: submissions@magnoliaartscenter .com. You will recieve an auto-reply message confirming your message has been received.
- Use the PayPal link within the confirmation email to pay the $5 electronic submission fee ($3 for entry and $2 for printing)
- By submitting your entry, you are agreeing to the terms of the competition laid forth in the downloadable submission form[].
Fine Print:
- Submission of an entry will authorize the MAC to reproduce and perform your entry with no royalties (for the purpose of furthering our Mission or to substantiate our existence as a Not-for-Profit entity). All subsequent publication and other ownership rights will be retained by the author. In all cases, the author will be fully notated and credited.
