Robin Armstrong, President

Qualifications: Robin Armstrong has her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Master of Business Administration degrees from East Carolina University (ECU). While at ECU, she worked as a box office associate and company manager for the ECU/Loessin Playhouse and Summer Theatre. After graduation, she was the recipient of the Professional Theatre Management Internship sponsored by the North Carolina Theatre Conference. For this internship, she worked at Triad Stage in Greensboro, NC, and her employment there was extended to company manage one of their productions. Currently, Robin is an Assistant Director for Graduate Programs for the ECU College of Business. Over the past five years, Robin has been a stage manager for more than five productions, mostly working with a local community theatre.




Janice Schreiber, Vice President

Qualifications: Janice Vertucci Schreiber has been passionate about theatre and involved in the theatrical experience for over forty years. Her involvement includes professional, educational, and community theatre work. She is a graduate of the theatre program at East Carolina University. Her studies have included graduate work in Acting at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, theatre studies through California State University at Dominguez Hills, directing study through the summer program at Yale University, and has received her certification in the Michael Chekhov Acting Technique through the University of Southern Maine. Janice presently holds a level one certification in the Alba-Emoting Technique used for acting study through the University of North Carolina at Asheville. She is an actress, director, and teacher. Her acting roles are numerous, she has been directing for over ten years, and an educator for nearly twenty years. Presently, she is the Director of Theatre at Arendell Parrott Academy in Kinston, North Carolina. In the fall of 2007, she was honored with the John W. Parker Award for Excellence in Directing at the North Carolina Theatre Conference One Act Play Festival. She is a member of the Educational Theatre Association and the American Association of Community Theatres.




Joshua Armstrong, Treasurer

Qualifications: Joshua manages the MAC website along with all of the MAC Project websites. He is charged with maintaining a professional looking website that is quickly assessable to those with all connection types, and flavors of browsers. Under the direction of the Board, Joshua takes press releases, project announcements, and new initiatives and puts them on the web.
Graduating from East Carolina University in May of 2005 with a degree in MIS, Joshua manages all the web presence for the local company, FoR ENC and all of its project sites. Charged with design, content management, and functionality of these websites, Joshua started his own business in early 2001, Webstrong Web Hosting and Design. Joshua also works for Allscripts Inc. as an IT Support Engineer. Allscripts specializes in creating software for Electronic Medical Records and Practice Management Systems.






Andrea Croskery, Secretary
andrea-headshot.jpgQualifications: Andrea Rosmarin Croskery received a Bachelor of Science in Secondary Education from Ball State University in Muncie, IN. Ms. Croskery has directed children, church and community theatre presentations in Pitt County. Since 1987, she has variously served as president, board member, director and Artistic Director for Smiles and Frowns Playhouse, Pitt County’s Premiere children’s theatre. She served on the Pitt County Arts Council from 1995 to 1999 as a board member and as president. Ms. Croskery has also been a member of the Greenville Choral Society since 1981 and has served on their board and as president. An ordained elder in the Presbyterian Church (USA), she is a member of Peace Presbyterian Church where she has served several terms on the session (governing board). She also served as Vice-president and president of the Greenville Orchestra Boosters. Additionally, she was a member of the board of directors of the ECU Friends of the Theater where she served as secretary. She has also served on other community boards including the Pitt County Medical Society Auxiliary and the PCMS Health Education Foundation.





George Crowl, At-Large Board Member
Occupation: Director of Pediatric Rehabilitation at Pitt County Memorial Hospital and Clinical Associate Professor of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and of Pediatrics at Brody School of Medicine.
Qualifications: George has been involved in theater since high school and graduated from the University of Hawaii with a B.A. in drama and theater in 1980. He completed a one year acting conservatory at the Drama Studio London in Berkeley California in 1982 and performed in the bay area at the Asian-American theater and Mt Tam Playhouse before moving to New York City. His life took a turn toward his present profession in New York where he both acted and directed in student productions at his medical school. When he moved to Fresno California to begin practice, he also resumed his theater activities at Roger Rockas dinner theater and Second Stage playing the lead in The King and I, and roles in A Chorus Line, Sugar, and A Christmas Carol. When he moved to upstate New York, he performed in community theater productions of The Fantasticks, How to Succeed in Business, Death Takes A Holiday, and as Rick Steadman in The Nerd for which he received an Excellence in Acting award from The Theater Association of New York State in 2004. He was also the drama ministry director at his local church and directed numerous skits as well as video dramas which he wrote, directed and edited. Since his move to Greenville, George has performed in the title role as Scrooge” with the Farmville Arts Council, as Professor Jones in the Electronic Fool for the MAC, and last year as Dr. Richard Gaunt in "Three Wise Fools".


Sarah Pauling, At-Large Member
sarahp.jpgOccupation: Sarah Pauling is a speech-language pathologist with the Children's Developmental Services Agency in Greenville, NC. 
Qualifications:  When she's not teaching kids under age 3 how to talk, Sarah sings with her church choir at St. James United Methodist Church, participates in Pitt County Relay for Life, and is a member of the board at the Magnolia Arts Center.  Sarah began her love of theatre as a young child in New Bern, where she acted in various New Bern Civic Theatre and Lolipop Playhouse productions including .  Sarah is also an alumna of the Smiles and Frowns Playhouse of Greenville, participating in many productions including Charlotte's Web (Wilbur) and The Lion, The Witch, and the Wardrobe (White Witch).  Before serving on the MAC Board, she performed in the summer series productions of A Thousand Cranes (Grandmother) and An Ideal Husband (Mrs. Marchmont).

Collice Moore, Jr, At-Large Member

collice.jpgCollice Moore, Jr. began his involvement in theater in High School when his high school theater teacher (Janice Schreiber) dragged him out of drafting class to tryout for Oklahoma!  Since then he has been involved in various performing activities including singing, producing, and more recently, acting. Collice graduated from North Carolina State University with a degree in Political Science and worked in the NC Governors Office for a number of years. In 2000, he returned to Greenville and is currently in business with his father. In addition to MAC, Collice is also the Vice-President of Uptown Greenville.
