Congratulations to our winner, M. John Bohane for his play Disconnect.


Magnolia Arts Center presents the 4th Annual 10-minute Play Contest Finale on November 8th at 3 p.m. at the Tipsy Teapot in Uptown Greenville.  The top five 10-minute plays, as selected by a panel of judges, will be performed in as staged readings.  Following the presentation, the audience will receive ballots to vote for their favorite play, just like "American Idol."  The play receiving the highest number of votes will earn a cash prize for it's playwright.  Past winner's of this award include Elaine Jarvik, wife of Robert Jarvik, inventor of the artificial heart.  This year's finalists include comedies and dramas and are directed by Anthony Holsten. Thanks for the hard work of this year's judges - George Crowl, Joe Petrullo, & Kate Scarabelli.  Admission is $5.
