Stinky Cheese Man Auditions!

Magnolia Arts Center
Zoom Showcase Players

The Magnolia Arts Center will hold auditions for the virtual production of ‘The STINKY CHEESE MAN And Other Fairly Stupid Tales’ which will be presented on November 20th and 21st. “Though the characters may be familiar, each of your favorite storybook fables is derailed in this adaptation of Jon Scieska and Lane Smith’s quintessential children’s book of fractured fairy tales,” as described by the play publishers.

The MAC is seeking youth, ages 9 – 13 for this virtual production of fractured fairy tales. There are seven actors in this play doing multiple roles which is a great learning experience for a young actor. Three roles are already cast with four roles still available: 2
males and 2 of any gender. However, if we have a huge audition turnout, the production has the ability to be expanded.

The auditions will be held via Zoom on Saturday September 19th at two different times: 10:00 – 12:00 and 4:00 – 6:00.

Be prepared to be at the audition for the entire time slot because the directing team may want to hear you again.

Please fill out the audition form at the link below and return to the Magnolia Arts Center before September 18th by email:

Rehearsals are scheduled for Thursdays and Sundays beginning September 24th from 6:30 – 8:00 via Zoom.

Starting November 16th, we probably will rehearse every night prior to the show’s opening.

This production will be directed by Janice Vertucci Schreiber and Taylor Evans.
